The DeeDee Pre-order Period
If you’ve recently purchased or are thinking about purchasing Duke’s DeeDee Dice Set, this blog contains everything you need to know about the pre-order period!
The DeeDee dice set is created in two halves: a set of seven blue dice and a DeeDee d20. The first half is already done! It arrived in four gloriously massive boxes and is in our home office right now. As for DeeDee, she’s making her way through the production process.
When DeeDee too arrives in gloriously massive boxes of her own, it will be time to combine the two halves into one whole. This is done by hand, but as we are equipped with staff that actually LIKES this kind of meticulous job, this process is faster than you’d expect. Still, for those of you that are curious, we have around 2,000 DeeDees in production (this is why the boxes are so massive)!
From here, all the freshly packaged DeeDee Dice Sets will ship to our warehouse. Our warehouse employees are incredibly fast, but Awesome Dice is not the only company they service, so it can take them a while to finish scanning in a new shipment. Once they have, however, the pre-order period instantly ends and hundreds of DeeDees will start making their way through the mail and into your waiting hands!
So be sure to double check your addresses. Our system won’t catch most address errors until it’s time for shipment. If you catch it now, there’ll be nothing to delay your DeeDee shipment.
Finally, for those of you that missed our pre-order warning, if you place an order of any in-stock items alongside your DeeDee Dice Set, your entire order will be delayed until your pre-order is ready. If you would like to circumvent this problem, simply place two orders: one order of a DeeDee Dice Set and one order containing any Awesome Dice Product(s) you’re interested in. For those of you who already placed one such an order and would like your in-stock dice to ship now, just send us an email and we can get the two orders split up for you. Please keep in mind, however, that this will incur a second shipping fee (because, you know, now you have two orders to ship).
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us! We’re always here to help.
