The Nebula Oceanic certainly sets itself apart from the historic Nebula release by Chessex in that it contains hues of both dark blue and green. Inked in gold, it resembles the richness of the fabled city of Atlantis. In addition, the set contains Chessex's proprietary "Luminary" glowing particles that activate once the lights go out. This will be a set that is both great to look at and very fun to play with!

This set was originally part of Chessex's second Lab Dice release. It is being brought back on a permanent basis.

Nebula Oceanic w/ Luminary 7 Dice Set

Very pretty dice for a reasonable price

Ordered this set to justify the shipping on a replacement die for another set (and because I'm a dice goblin), and I have no regrets about the purchase. The colored swirls are beautiful, and combined with the shimmery speckles these dice are certainly magical looking. Numbers are easy to read, and while my first roll was a nat-1, the die has since redeemed itself with fair rolls. All in all, no complaints here.

Nice Dice

Very beautiful dice, and it arrived in a timely manner. The glow-in-the-dark stuff is relatively even across the set. Only mark against it would be inconsistent color distribution across the set: some dice are brightly colored while others have almost none. For example, my D20 is almost completely clear while my D6 is deeply colored. Other than that, I haven't come across any balance issues or cracks so would recommend the set as a whole.
