Golden goblets filled with wine accompanied every delicate plate, and the air carried the scent of a dizzying array of food. Dinners and desserts, soups and appetizers—it lined the table from end to end. 

At the head of it all sat a single man, leaned back in a chair so large and so detailed it could easily be confused for a throne. As the traveler stepped closer, the man's face split with a smile as sharp as his teeth.
