Are Dice Towers Fair?
For the most part, dice towers are great for helping to ensure fair rolls. They knock the dice around randomly, multiple times. And they prevent sneaky rolling.
Are Dice Towers Suitable for Use With Gemstones and Glass?
Unless it has padding, you shouldn’t roll gemstone or glass dice down a dice tower. Otherwise, what dice can and can’t be used with a dice tower depends on the size of the tower and the size of your dice. Real small, narrow towers might not be able to fit dice that are larger than standard size.
Are Dice Towers Durable?
Dice towers are very durable, but if you have a wooden one it will eventually get beat up over time. This is especially true if you decide to roll solid metal dice down the towers. Good news, though: it’s mostly the inside that gets beat up, so even if the interior looks a mess, the interior should largely remain spic and span. Just, again, be mindful of metal dice. If the dice bounce off the edge of your dice tray and back into your tower, that could leave a tiny dent on the outside.
