Chessex dice are all very high quality RPG dice, and all of the Chessex dice styles are available in various dice sets. In addition, Chessex now makes the Game Science precision dice, only they have advanced the dice manufacturing technology so that these sharp-edged precision dice can now be manufactured with printed numbers (before Chessex came along, the numbers were just inset in the dice, and weren't colored, due to manufacturing reasons).
Here at Awesome Dice, we are big fans of the Borealis series by Chessex. The series is consists of a semi-opaque dice with a magical shimmer effect. We currently carry the 12d6, 36d6, and 7-dice sets for the Light Green, Pink, and Royal Purple series and also carry the 7-dice set in Smoke.
Chessex's Gemini line is the company's most expansive and one of the most enduring lines in the dice world. Each set consists of two colors, brought together and mixed with little, if any, blending of the colors. The results are awesome! The Gemini Black/Shell and Purple/Teal, for example, are perpetually some of the most popular sets we sell here at Awesome Dice.
In early 2019, Chessex announced that they would begin releasing what they termed their "Lab Dice" series. Lab Dice are limited-run dice sets produced by Chessex and released in groups. Some of the dice sets have become very sought-after, pushing the prices of certain sets up on the secondary market higher than their original sales price.
The Scarab series by Chessex is one of the most colorfully intense dice series on the market. A small series compared to other series by Chessex, the Scarab line consists of only 4 color schemes. The dark Blue Blood, the subdued radiance of Scarlet, the rich, beautiful hues of Royal Blue, and the darkly organic green of the Jade line all combine to create a dice series with no weaknesses.
Each set in Chessex's Vortex line consists of a mashup of translucent and opaque coloring, usually mixed with a splash of white. The result is a wonderful, complex design that catches the eyes of all who see them.
