The d4 dice, also known as 4-sided dice, are platonic solids shaped like tetrahedrons. Often referred to as caltrops due to their sharp, pointed design, these dice are also called pyramid dice. Each standard 4-sided die has three numbers on its four faces, with the result typically determined by the number at the topmost corner after a roll.
