Green Dragon 7-Dice Set

The ranger in the party of four had lived within the jungle all his life. He knew what bounty it had to offer and what dangers could conceal it. What sounds and smells others might find unsettling and unfamiliar, he knew all to well. It was not the same for the other three members of his party, and so they had decided to defer to him. Yet the look on his face now was hardly any different from their own, for it did not take an expert to ascertain that what surrounded them now was by no means natural. The thick scent of water and soil now carried a hint of chlorine. With it came a low-hanging fog the color of emeralds. The vegetation had grown so dense that swinging a machete became vital, then grew difficult, then useless; someone tripped or got stuck every few minutes. And though it sounded crazy, the ranger swore the trees were moving.

When finally the roar of rushing water could be heard from a distance, the ranger cursed. “We’ve gone the wrong way. But the far more pressing matter is that one does not arrive in a place such as this by accident.”
